Summary

Fiber optic communications are now being integrated with spatial light modulators (SLMs) for deep tissue imaging, overcoming optical scattering limitations. Multi-mode fibers (MMFs) are particularly advantageous due to their small form factor, minimizing tissue damage during biomedical imaging applications.
