FACILITY

Despite being a small town on the edge of Colorado’s eastern plains, Frederick, Colorado, has become the heart of activity in the photonics industry. In making Frederick home, Meadowlark is accessible to a broad range of sophisticated technologies in electronics, optics and photonics. In addition, resources including the Colorado Advanced Photonics Technology (CAPT) Center and the University of Colorado Electro-Optics Computing Center are nearby in Boulder.

Meadowlark’s R&D Lab houses an advanced clean room and is staffed by scientists and engineers who have extensive experience with liquid crystal, electro-optics and lasers. Thanks to our vertical orientation, our trained staff works at exceptionally high standards of quality in directly handling glass fabricating, coating, polishing and assembly.

Once we have completed product performance tests, our finished products go to our quality control team, which makes a final, careful examination to ensure every product specification is met, documentation is in place, and traceability of every part is maintained.
